With the government’s strict “High Value, Low Impact Tourism” policy, Bhutan is one of the most exclusive destinations in the world. The traditional Buddhist culture, the vibrant colours of the Buddhist art, the magnificent nature ranging from dense dark green forests, rice fields, to snow-capped mountains and gushing rivers will take your breath away. Let us guide you in discovering the best kept secret of the Himalayas.
Once we’d dropped off our bags, we headed out and explored the many islands that make up Stockholm.
It really is a beautiful city. Each island seems to have it’s own style, from the Parisian mega rich feeling Östermalm to the Hipster streets of Södermalm. Wherever you are in Stockholm, there’s beautiful architecture, a relaxed atmosphere and lots of interesting places to explore.
We didn’t know it when we booked, but the Gum Ball 3000 was in town over the weekend. There were loads of audacious super cars driving around, which really attracted the crowds.
We also paid a quick visit to the Vasa Museum to see the only almost fully intact 17th century ship that has ever been salvaged. The warship Vasa sank on her maiden voyage in Stockholm 1628 and is quite the impressive sight.
